たぶん日本直販はそういうことはやっていなかったと思います。
日本直販は、（自分の印象ですが…）ヒット商品便りの行き当たりばったりの経営だったと感じられます。
いまのテレビショッピングは、たとえばＱＶＣは、グローバルネットでテレビとネットを使いこなし、
商品ラインもピーター、岡田可愛、アンミカといったタレントのブランドや
生活全体を網羅した、見栄えのよい商品を揃えており、購入する側の見栄心も満たせるようにしています。
「ただいまお電話が混み合っています」「残りわずかになってまいりました」「今回だけの特別価格です」
といったダイレクトレスポンス特有の手法もふんだんに使われています。
サントリー、やずや、わかさ生活など、ＤＲＭはみんな定期購入のお客を増やすことで安定を
はかっています。そのために無料サンプルや定期的なニュースレターを配布して
顧客のファン化をはかっています。
倒産の原因は、金融商品での失敗が大きいと思いますが、
そうした競合会社と比べるとあきらかにマーケティング不在だったと言えます。

大手の企業が倒産する時に、必ず出てくるのが、この金融派生商品です。
いわゆる詐欺みたいなものです。通販会社なんて、一個売って、１０００円の利益の
商売なのに、金融派生商品というのは、１日で数億円を儲けたり、失ったりする世界です。企業でも家庭でも、本業だけで破滅はしないものです。破滅する時は、
金融の世界に手を出す時が破滅への第一歩です。おわり・・・
